The Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck is an extraordinary cultural project and combines historic railway architecture with a visionary new building by star architect Richard Meier: in a spectacular location above the Rhine, the building presents art, architecture and landscape in harmonious unity - a place where history, present and future merge artfully.

Precise door technology for the highest architectural demands

For the Arp Museum, we supplied high-quality custom folding panels and XXL fire and smoke protection doors: large doors without visible fittings, in the custom folding panel version, as well as a double-sash fire barrier with clear opening dimensions of 5 m in width and 4 m in height. Our solutions met the highest requirements for functionality, security and design, and blend harmoniously into the overall architectural concept of the new building for the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, designed under the direction of architect Richard Meier.
