The order comprised 5 double sash XXL fire protection doors with a level of 4,300 mm, which were also equipped with a smoke protection function. These doors were manufactured with T30 fire-resistant glazing, passage glassbars and flush glazing beads on both sides, which combined both functional and aesthetic requirements. A further 10 double sash and 2 single sash fire protection doors with smoke protection function were also fitted with T30 fire protection glazing, continuous glassbars and panic locks.

The surfaces of the doors were veneered in mahogany and etched according to samples, giving the doors an elegant yet traditional appearance.

The particular appeal of this order lay in reconciling the new state of the art in terms of fire protection with the architect's optical requirements and the listed building regulations. This required precise and creative implementation in order to maintain both the high safety standards and the historical and aesthetic ambience.
