The first single-family home built using the 3D concrete printing procedure has been built in Beckum, Münsterland, Germany. A modern, two-storey detached house with approx. 160 square meters of living space has become a reality.
About the project
Innovative construction was realized with the help of new techniques. Comparable to the cream on a cake, in this case the concrete was applied layer by layer using pressure. The round individual layers can be clearly seen, for example, within the walls of the living area. Modern architecture with new stylistic forms was created with centimeter precision through prior planning. At the start, the new residential building will be made available as a sample object for presentation and research purposes and should act as a model for innovative construction, digitalized and automated processes in the construction industry. The enterprise PERI is responsible for the concrete construction, while Leifhelm & Pelkmann GmbH is in charge of the sanitary version. Kermi shower enclosures from the NICA series are installed in the single-family house without a wall profile.
