The order included the production and installation of 400 multifunctional doors that combined fire, smoke and sound insulation requirements.

About the project

The particular challenge lay in combining these functionalities with the oversized measurements of the door-sets, which demanded the utmost technical precision. Of particular note was the low weight per unit area of only 35 kg/m², which, despite the demanding security requirements, offered outstanding lightness and rigidity.

In addition, lightweight sliding doors were delivered as XXL doors, with door leaves up to 3,800 mm wide and 3,000 mm high, which were impressively convincing in terms of both their size and functionality.

The surfaces of the door-sets were customised: on one side in brushed aluminium laminate, and on the opposite side in black-lacquered oak. This version fit the wall panelling perfectly and allowed the doors to be seamlessly integrated into the interior work, creating a harmonious and modern overall look.
