Germany's largest door warehouse in white is located in Weinsheim. With the construction of a second high-bay warehouse, the door manufacturer PRÜM is sending out a clear signal in favour of service and rapid availability in times of raw material shortages and supply bottlenecks. The WHITE GIANT offers a complete stock range of surfaces from standard doors to style and design doors and functional doors specialising in white surfaces.
With white doors, PRÜM is focussing its production on the classics that still perfectly reflect the spirit of the times today. In the white shades 9010 and 9016, lacquered and in CPL, a consistent, parallel product range is now available with four surfaces and two door leaf heights - 1,985 millimetres and 2,110 millimetres. Doors with undercut or doors without keyhole drilling are also in stock in Weinsheim and are also available quickly thanks to state-of-the-art logistics.
Another product focus is on functional doors: soundproof, burglar-proof, damp-proof and fire-resistant doors, some with single and triple locking, are available from stock in Weinsheim. In addition to white doors, all standard CPL surfaces and all-glass doors round off the stock range perfectly. A further 600,000 combinations can be produced via the PEP 2 delivery programme and are available at short notice.

Door manufacturer PRÜM stocks 160,000 doors and frames in over 70,000 m² of warehouse and logistics space. 7,000 different items are in stock. 12 storage and retrieval machines and a state-of-the-art material flow control system handle palletised goods and individual parts.
Fully automated industrial robots in a networked warehouse concept ensure that orders are delivered quickly. Innovative conveyor technology and storage and retrieval machines ensure an efficient material flow. An industrial robot picks the goods fully automatically according to customer orders. A higher-level control system controls the flow of goods from goods receipt to loading the packed pallets onto the lorry.
In the current expansion stage of the new warehouse, an industrial robot picks up to 2,500 parts per day. After the installation of a further unit, the picking capacity will double to 5,000 parts per day.
PRÜM also serves other logistics areas in the new high-bay warehouse II. A total of up to 2,500 pallets are moved in four aisles. Up to 9,500 individual parts are moved per day in the entire dispatch logistics.
