The project comprised the fit-out of a hotel with a capacity of 557 rooms and suites, spacious conference and exhibition areas and an elegant ballroom.
About the project
The order involved the supply and installation of a total of 1,000 interior doors, including 557 room entrance doors, which were designed as smoke protection doors with integrated sound insulation (Rw, P = 42 dB).
Particular attention was paid to the special doors, which were produced to impressive measurements of up to 2,970 millimetres in height and 2,015 millimetres in width, as well as several side doors, which were designed as T30 fire protection doors with an additional smoke protection function. The doors were finished in black lacquered ash and fitted with flush-mounted glass panels, into which the room numbers were discreetly integrated.
Another design element was the wall panelling of the doorways to the room entrance doors. Here, the door frames were seamlessly integrated into the wall panelling, creating a harmonious overall appearance and an exclusive ambience. This combination of functionality and aesthetic sophistication underlines the high-quality design of the project.
