The order for the office complex included the supply and installation of high-quality door systems that met both functional and aesthetic requirements. Stock frames made of block boards were used, combined with flush door leaves to create an elegant and modern look.
About the project
One center of gravity was on soundproof doors with a sound damping value of Rw, P = 48 dB, which ensured a high level of rigidity and functionality despite their low weight per unit area of around 41 kg/m². The doors were of a flush-fitting version and, in the case of double-leaf elements, were fitted with covered door handles, which heightened both security and aesthetics.
The door surfaces were coated with linoleum, a durable and easy-care surface that blends seamlessly into the overall concept. In addition, the doors integrated electric switches and controls, emphasizing the modern and technology-friendly design of the office complex.
After receiving this order, sample elements were produced in the first week, which were tested in Prof. Fritz Holtz's laboratory for sound and heat measurement technology in Stephanskirchen in order to guarantee the client security with regard to the exceptionally high sound insulation requirements.
