Wild dunes, an 11-kilometre-long sandy beach and the shimmering expanse of the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea are by no means all that the small island has to offer. The tides provide a constantly changing backdrop and the numerous small forests complete the image of a perfect vacation. There is another reason for the extremely healthy North Sea climate here: no cars and therefore no disruptive road traffic. Handcarts and bicycles emboss the streetscape. Pure peace and nature! Time to enjoy, active and relieved stress at the same time.
