The order included the delivery and installation of a total of 650 hotel room and bathroom doors. The room entrance and connecting doors were designed as soundproof doors with values of Rw, P = 42 dB and Rw, P = 52 dB respectively. In addition, the room and side doors were designed as multifunctional doors that offer both fire and smoke protection (T30 RS-1) and sound insulation (Rw, P = 42 dB). These doors were fitted with Dorma hold-open devices with a free-swing function and covered cable substitutes to combine functionality and modern design.

The optical features of the doors underline the consistent implementation of the "New England" design concept and testify to the designers' flair for originality. Highlights include panel doors with a special lacquer finish and bathroom doors that have been transparently etched in red, yellow and turquoise. Some doors were designed with aged surfaces in a "wormhole look", while others stood out due to their plank character with ship's portholes. There were also doors with an elegant optical brass surround, which emphasized the high-quality character of the interior design.
