These details make all the difference.

Whether through-coloured laminate surface, zero-joint technology, joro edge protection or asymmetrical coating, etc. joro advises its clients with decades of door expertise. Together with you, the joro specialists work out the best possible problem solution for you in a customised and targeted manner. In doing so, we look not only at the appearance, but also at the use of high-quality materials that are best suited for this purpose and guarantee the best realisability and function.

Technology highlights

Three superimposed rectangular panels with white surface; visible multi-layered wooden edge and end wood structure; narrow metal joint strips between the panels; blurred metal strips on the right

joro zero joint technology

On request, you can have a particularly careful stick together, which means that the surface transitions at the frame edges are barely visible. This not only looks particularly high-quality. The doors are also better protected against humidity. The joro zero joint technology thus ensures simple maintenance and a permanently attractive appearance - even under high levels of stress.

Advantages:

  • Significantly better appearance, straight with light-coloured or particularly dark surfaces
  • Better performance properties
  • Higher level of stress, moisture-resistant
  • Also possible in water-resistant gluing

Area of application:

  • High-quality residential, hotel and commercial areas

Door gap between wooden door leaf on the left and dark frame on the right; metal strike plate with swivel arm and round rotary knob

joro door gap opening

A fitting integrated into the edge of the door leaf eliminates the need for a visible assembled locking bar. This allows the door to be opened a crack wide from the inside in a simple and secure manner. This protects against unwelcome visits or provides a simple means of airing the room. Typical joro: clever down to the last detail.

Benefits:

  • Much better optics than conventional locking bars
  • Simple and convenient operation
  • Extremely robust and reliable
  • No incorrect operation possible

Applications:

  • Hotel sector

Black door with fine longitudinal structure; at the top an angular black card reader with radio wave symbol, in the centre a matt stainless steel door handle on a round rosette, underneath a round metal knob; on the left door frame with narrow light surface.

joro edge protection

In hotels - or anywhere else - door frames have to withstand a lot. If trolleys or other objects always bump into them or get stuck, stable chamfered edges are particularly in demand. joro has developed an extremely elegant solution for this - the joro edge protection: metal splices embedded in the door frame edges reinforce the edges in an optical and durable manner. They thus ensure a high-quality look even under continuous heavy use.

Benefits:

  • Permanently hard-wearing door frame edges
  • Quality design
  • Better performance characteristics

Applications:

  • Hotel sector
  • High quality housing
  • Schools, kindergartens

Stacked cross-sections of laminate panels with a brown core, white top layers and partly green outer edges; underneath, transverse panels with fine grooves

joro through-dyed laminate surface

Door surfaces are coated with an HPL or CPL decorative layer in the desired colour. On conventional doors, this top colour layer is often very thin and applied to a black substrate. This is visible in the edge area and even small scratches quickly show through the backing layer.

Not so with joro! Our decorative coatings can be coloured through on request. This means that you get a uniform colour of your choice on the chamfered edges and minor damage to the surface is barely visible due to the deep colour.

Benefits:

  • No black "underlay" visible in the edge area
  • Scratches in the surface are barely visible
  • Much better performance characteristics

Applications:

  • Hotel sector
  • High-quality residential and large-scale projects

joro lightweight construction

joro has also managed to realise XXL formats in a special lightweight construction, where the expertise and experience of the joro specialists are particularly evident. The joro door leaves are much easier to handle, both during erection and in use. A noticeable advantage in the long term.

Advantages:

  • Significantly simpler handling
  • Less vibration when closing
  • Lower opening and closing forces
  • Low loads during transport and erection of the door leaves

Areas of application:

  • Everywhere

White, profiled interior door with gold-coloured handle half open; dark brown wooden interior door to the right; dark wood panelling on the walls; light marble floor with square tiles and dark corners; a piece of patterned carpet is visible in the open passageway.

joro asymmetric coatings

Whether in hotels, museums, listed buildings or in buildings with different colour or design concepts in the rooms in front of and behind a door: there are many reasons for asymmetrically designed door surfaces. If a hallway has a more rustic design, but an outgoing room or office has a more modern look, it makes sense to choose an asymmetrically coated joro door: Outside with a rustic surface texture and wood grained finish, inside perhaps with a lacquered high-gloss surface. Give free rein to your ideas.

Benefits:

  • High-tech door leaf structures make asymmetrical surface looks possible: one side with a colored high-gloss lacquer, the other side corrugated surface structures
  • Versatile design options
  • Supports unique design concepts
