Working where ideas create spaces

Markus Bauer, Assembly Technician

How long have you been with us, and how did you come to join the company?
I’ve been working here in Dörzbach for eight years now. Back then, an acquaintance told me about the vacancy. Even after the first few interviews, I had the feeling that not only was the work right here, but the team spirit was too. That’s certainly proved to be the case to this day.

What does a typical working day look like for you?
No two days are the same. Sometimes we install partition wall systems in a modern office building, other times in a school or a hospital. In the morning, we start on site, liaise with the project team and make sure that everything fits perfectly in the end.

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
I’m motivated by the fact that you can see the results of your work straight away. When high-quality spaces are created from an empty area and you know you’ve played a part in that, it really makes you proud.

What sets your team apart?
We can rely on one another. Teamwork is crucial, especially on building sites. Everyone pitches in, and when things get tight, we support one another.

Why would you recommend the company as an employer?
Because people matter here. You’re given responsibility, treated fairly and feel like you’re part of a strong team. What’s more, we work on exciting projects that you often still recognise years later.

Sarah Hofmann, Project Manager

What are your responsibilities as a project manager?
I oversee our projects from the moment an order is placed right through to successful completion. In doing so, I coordinate clients, architects, internal specialist departments and the installation team. My aim is to ensure that everyone involved has the right information at the right time.

What do you particularly like about your work?
The variety. Every project is different and brings new challenges. I find the interaction with clients and working with different teams within the company particularly exciting.

What skills are particularly important for your job?
Organisational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to keep a clear overview even in hectic situations. At the same time, it helps to understand technical contexts and think in a solution-oriented way.

Which project are you particularly proud of?
I’m particularly proud of a major office project where we worked under considerable time pressure. Thanks to close collaboration between everyone involved, we were able to meet the deadline and the client was very satisfied.

Why do you enjoy working in Dörzbach?
Here, modern project work is combined with a close-knit corporate culture. Communication lines are short, decisions are made pragmatically and everyone knows each other personally. This creates a special working atmosphere.
