With the "Street of Doors", GARANT is presenting a walk-through door show at the international BAU trade fair in Munich from 14 to 19 January 2019. Visitors will be able to walk through over 30 popular or completely new interior and residential doors: for example, doors with G-TEC surfaces, robust round edges, in new CPL colours or as a digital, "smart" access solution.
Anyone entering the exhibition stand will think they are standing in the centre of a building. The "door street" opens a variety of door models: with special functions such as fire protection, new surfaces, with magnetic lock or electronic peephole.
Visitors can try out all this and more for themselves: They will walk through a door course ranging from commercial and residential doors to SmartDOORS. Door after door will be lined up here, including many door innovations to touch. With the "Street of Doors" at BAU 2019, GARANT is presenting a sensory door showcase measuring a total of two by 20 metres.
G-TEC doors with anti-fingerprint: easy to clean - and simply beautiful
The new G-TEC surfaces on GARANT products combine all of this. Dirty fingers pass them by without a trace. This is because the new anti-fingerprint coating leaves no fingerprints, even on heavily used doors. At the same time, G-TEC doors are durable, lightfast and less sensitive. The highly matt surface in three shades of grey not only looks modern and elegant - "It also feels really good to the touch," says Ulf G. Hacke, Head of Marketing at GARANT.
More new products: natural wood look, new white
Maple, beech, oak - is that real wood? No, but we think CePaL is even better. Because the CePaL surfaces in the revised, new wood design are not only more robust than their natural counterparts. They are also easier to clean.
"Our new CePaL doors and frames with wood-like surfaces are all-rounders: This is because they are not only available as standard doors, but also as climate-stable functional doors, for example. They can also be combined with various design elements, light cut-outs and glass. This makes them attractive for both the commercial sector and the private home." (Ralf Niebur, Head of Sales GARANT)
Trade fair innovation at BAU 2019: the premium round edgeband, exclusive to Arbonia
The trade fair appearance of the interior door experts will be complemented by an impact and shock-resistant new premium edgeband door.
GARANT is currently installing new systems in which the new premium edge is produced. Here, the entire door rebate is given the two millimetre thick edge made of ABS and polypropylene (PP).
The premium edgeband is not only more resistant than the conventional plastic edgeband. Thanks to two millimetre thick safety radii, the new round-edged doors also comply with German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) regulation 102-002. This means they are even suitable for day-care centres.
RIVA white lacquer now with frosted all-glass
RIVA doors are popular: consequently, four models in the best-selling range in white lacquer are now also available as an all-glass version in a design composite. The glass is frosted, with clear glass strips, making it opaque but at the same time translucent. In this way, the new RIVA all-glass doors contribute to a light but cosy atmosphere.
SmartDOORS: Digital access solution for the housing industry
For housing construction companies and the property industry, SmartDOORS open doors to new, digital access solutions. In conjunction with KIWI, there is now a keyless, internet-based access management system for entrance doors, especially for housing associations with large construction projects.
Arbonia is the exclusive partner for equipping flat entrance doors as a SmartDOORS solution from GARANT with KIWI technology.
Open flat doors with IQ digitally, securely and user-friendly.
App, online portal, transponder, sensor and motorised lock: as SmartDOORS, flat entrance doors are combined with digital access technology for the first time, developed by the Berlin-based company KIWI. This is because the sensor technology from KIWI is pre-installed in the door leaf so that it is invisible from the outside. It controls the door's motorised lock using energy from the power supply. After installation, the door is connected to the KIWI infrastructure and operated flexibly.
The owner or tenant uses the intelligent access system to give their family, friends or service providers access to their home: controlled, planned, in a fixed time window, independent of location and resource-saving. They do not have to be at home or hand over a key.
