Push, pull or push? - A small question that has a major influence on the entire interior design, the utilisation of space and living comfort.
Why sliding doors are the ideal solution for small rooms
Sliding doors are often chosen when it comes to access solutions for smaller rooms. And these are multiplying, as the population and economic growth in cities means that areas are becoming denser and living and office spaces are becoming smaller. As a result, urban tiny houses and modern micro-apartments are increasingly being built, posing new challenges for interior design. Sliding doors can be particularly helpful in these small and angled living situations: they create space! While the opening radius of classic interior doors still needs to be taken into account in the interior design, sliding doors offer much more flexibility in this respect. They can be opened along the wall or even slide into the wall.
It is precisely these dynamic solutions that provide structure and living comfort in minimalist living situations, such as micro-apartments. We fulfil the desire for a little more privacy in bedrooms or wet rooms. Whether it's sliding doors for offices, flats, angled old buildings or classic living spaces, we provide a suitable solution.

Create structures!
Sliding doors are not only useful for dividing up small rooms, but also large rooms. Without visual partitions, a large room can quickly appear lost and unstructured. Sliding door elements are perfect here as a modern room divider. For example, they can be used as a partition between the kitchen and living room or to visually separate the home office workspace from the living room.
Enlarge rooms visually
- More light enters the mostly smaller rooms behind.
- From the outside, it is immediately clear when a meeting is taking place without any annoying knocking.
- The room is visually enlarged. Even with several people in a small room, you don't feel cramped.
The practical vestibule elements for floor-to-ceiling interior doors allow even more light to enter. Sliding doors with glass cut-outs can also be a design highlight in living rooms. For example, dark corridors can be flooded with natural light from other rooms.
Sliding door hidden or visible?
When open, a sliding door can be a design element in its own right or emphasise the rest of the interior design. How does this work? With our special inner track mechanism, the sliding door can slide into the wall when opened. This leaves the adjacent wall free for further interior design. The classic sliding door fittings, on the other hand, guide the sliding doors along the wall. This also has a unique effect on the living atmosphere! The running box fitted on the outside can be matched to the colours and decor of the door elements. The focus is therefore on the design of the sliding door. Both the inside track mechanism and the classic design can be operated quietly thanks to the soft-closing mechanism.
Barrier-free with the sliding door
Harmonious design
Sliding doors are available in a variety of versions and designs. For a combination of classic doors and sliding doors, we offer harmonious solutions with many individual components. As with all other interior doors, you can choose between closed door leaves, doors with glass cut-outs or all-glass doors.
More light in the living room
Do you have little natural light in your rooms and are looking for a way to make them appear brighter and larger?
A sliding door with glass elements or in all-glass allows more light into the room. Another advantage: glass elements visually enlarge the room. We offer a wide range of glass variations: From completely transparent to complex ornaments, there is a suitable design for everyone. To provide even more light, the sliding doors can be combined with vestibule elements.
Flexible use of living spaces
Sliding door elements work perfectly as modern room dividers. For example, a home office workstation can be visually separated from the living room or the living area can be separated from the kitchen. Perfect for utilising space flexibly and optimally structuring rooms.
Our reference project "Alte Seefahrtschule" shows how this works. Sliding doors are used there to separate the living and sleeping areas. This allows hotel guests to decide individually how they want to use their hotel room during their stay.
Harmonious design in your living space
A door is a central element of interior design. Here too, it is important that all interior doors create a harmonious overall impression. Sliding doors can therefore be fitted with the same elements as all other interior doors. The same design elements can be selected for closed door leaves, doors with glass cut-outs and all-glass doors.
A wide variety of designs with many individually combinable components provide visual eye-catchers. Almost all sliding doors are also available in double-leaf versions.
The perfect sliding door for every requirement
We offer additional functions and useful extensions. For example, we offer a system that enables the door to be opened and closed electronically. This combines living comfort and accessibility. Operation via a button, remote control or motion detector is optionally available.
What criteria should you consider when choosing a sliding door?
- How much space does the living situation offer?
- Is the overall design harmonious? Coordinate the design of your interior doors and the sliding doors.
- How loud can it be? Sliding doors with soft-close mechanisms are particularly suitable for sensitive hearing and neighbours with good hearing.
- How bright are the rooms? Glass elements or all-glass sliding doors make your room brighter and make it appear larger.
- Do you have individual requirements? Remote control, motion detectors and the like increase living comfort.
