Further training and inspiration for specialist dealers, fabricators and architects

To actively support our customers with expert advice and practical experience, we have opened the GARANT Exhibition and Training Centre (GAZ) in the heart of Erfurt. The centre now covers an area of 530m² and offers a comprehensive door exhibition and many training stations for further training purposes.

The centre is equipped with modern facilities and is entirely in the GARANT design style: transparent and open, the exhibition and training centre creates a special and inspiring atmosphere.

Excellent conditions for further training

The training area is located in the centre of the door exhibition, which always shows the latest innovations and new products alongside the classics. Here, training takes place not only in the seminar room, but also directly on the product, so that theory and practice can be optimally combined.

"Have you ever tried to break in through a burglar-proof door or heard live whether a soundproof door is really soundproof?" Depending on the seminar booked, the training centre offers the opportunity to do just that. In the practical test, participants experience the application live.

In addition to various training opportunities, the GARANT programme focuses on professional exchange. In the open get-together area, dealers, installers, architects and specialist participants exchange ideas with the training instructors. Here, everyone benefits from the knowledge and experience of others.

Expanded and remodelled: our new features at the GAZ

By renting additional space in the building, we were able to expand our GARANT exhibition and training centre by 180 m2. The extension and conversion work, which began in November 2020, was completed at the end of January.

Innovative unique selling point: the GARANT "Point of Experience" tool

Over 50,000 product variants and configurations projected live for you on our 98-inch monitor - that's what the GARANT door tool offers you. As part of our new GARANTDigital area, the "Point of Experience" tool (POE) offers you a unique experience of a deceptively real-looking door. The POE tool is probably the biggest innovation in the GAZ.

Professional coaching programme

The training programme is varied and appeals to beginners and professionals alike. There is a comprehensive programme covering all aspects of doors as well as seminars on special and functional doors, plus training courses on commercial and service-oriented topics such as preparing quotations or dealing with complaints.In addition, there are regular information events on current legal topics and requirements, with all events focussing on the individual requirements of the participants. Questions are expressly encouraged and will be dealt with gladly.

Where can I find the current coaching programme?

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer on-site training courses due to the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, we are constantly working on new training content and offer online resources that you can use to further your education.

The basic course on doors and frames. Important basic knowledge is explained in an informative way. You will learn practical facts about surface types, edges and dimensional relationships.

GAP- GARANT offer programme

GAP - a programme full of possibilities. The GARANT quotation programme offers the creation of quotations, active article management and much more.

Specialist retailers without prior knowledge of GAP

 

In the beginners' seminar, you will learn in a practical way through numerous exercises:

  2. Master data maintenance

Prevention instead of complaints | Professional seminar

When selling doors, a solid specialised knowledge is required. The target status described in the tender or contract must be understood and the respective national and European specifications and requirements must be implemented when fulfilling the contract.

Specialist dealers and fabricators with several years of professional experience

 

The seminar is product-neutral and focuses on the following topics:

  1. Performance specifications, product knowledge and quality standards for doors and frames (Part I)
  2. Standards, technical regulations, dimensional tolerances in building construction, technical complaint management (Part II)

Learning from damage: How does a sworn expert assess defects and how are they technically evaluated and rectification costs calculated (Part III)

Functional doors - professional seminar

Actively protect living and working spaces. The doors with special functions offer sound and burglary protection as well as fire and smoke protection in a perfect design.

 

Target group:

Fabricators and specialist dealers with experience in the residential door sector

 

You will receive practical information about

VOB/tenders
