Exhibition and training centre

Further training and inspiration for specialist dealers, fabricators and architects

To provide our customers with expert advice and practical support, we have opened the GARANT Exhibition and Training Centre (GAZ) in the heart of Erfurt. Here, across an area of 530m², you will find a comprehensive door showroom and numerous training stations designed for professional development.

The centre is equipped with modern facilities and designed entirely in the GARANT style: transparent and open! This creates a special and inspiring atmosphere at the Exhibition and Training Centre.

Excellent conditions for further training

The training area is situated right in the middle of the door showroom, which, alongside the classics, always showcases the latest innovations and new products. Here, training takes place not only in the seminar room, but also directly with the product, ensuring that theory and practice are perfectly combined.

“Have you ever tried breaking through a burglar-resistant door or heard for yourself whether a soundproof door is truly soundproof? Depending on the seminar booked, the training centre offers the opportunity to do just that. In practical tests, participants experience the application first-hand.

In addition to various training opportunities, the GARANT programme focuses on professional exchange. In the open get-together area, dealers, fabricators, architects and specialist participants exchange ideas with the training instructors. Here, everyone benefits from each other’s knowledge and experience.

Expanded and refurbished: our innovations at the GAZ

By renting additional space in the building, we have been able to expand our GARANT exhibition and training centre by 180 m². The extension and refurbishment work, which began in November 2020, was completed at the end of January.

A look behind the technology of our doors: in the newly extended section, you can gain an insight into the mechanisms and components of GARANT functional doors. This allows you to discover our doors up close and see their quality for yourself.

Would you like to gain an insight into the planning and refurbishment process of our GAZ and not miss out on any updates? Our social media channels offer further insights and updates on our training centre. Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Innovative unique selling point: the GARANT “Point of Experience” tool

Over 50,000 product variants and configurations projected live for you on our 98-inch monitor – that’s what the GARANT door tool offers you. As part of our new GARANTDigital section, the “Point of Experience” (POE) tool offers you a unique experience of a door that looks deceptively real. The POE tool is arguably the biggest innovation at the GAZ.

Professional coaching programme

The training programme is diverse and appeals to both beginners and professionals alike. It offers a comprehensive programme covering all aspects of doors, as well as seminars on special and functional doors. In addition, training courses are offered on commercial and service-oriented topics, such as preparing quotations or dealing with complaints. There are also regular information sessions on current legal issues and regulations. All events focus on the individual needs of the participants. Questions are expressly encouraged and will be addressed with pleasure.

Where can I find the current coaching programme?

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are currently unable to offer in-person training on site. Nevertheless, we are constantly working on new training content and offer online resources to help you further your professional development.

Why not have a browse through our Marketing Toolbox? There you will find, for example, our webinar series ‘Door Knowledge for Beginners’, for which we are constantly producing new videos on various topics. The next topic planned is a webinar on “Made-to-measure covers”, which will be available to you in a few weeks’ time.

We are also planning live webinars in the future to offer you new training content in real time.

On our GARANT website, we provide further information on the planning and availability of our in-person training courses. We hope to welcome you soon to our on-site training centre.
